Our goal is to design, plan, and deliver seamless events. We are convinced that true excellence lies not only in the result, but also in how that result is achieved. This conviction is anchored in a system of values built on high ethical, social, and environmental standards, which form an integral part of our work. To make our business principles transparent, and to remind ourselves daily of the standards we strive to uphold, we have established the following Code of Conduct:
We expect full compliance not only from our own team, but equally from all business partners. In cases of violations or non-compliance, we reserve the right, depending on the severity of the breach, to terminate our collaboration with the respective partner.
GENERAL PRINCIPLES
Core Values
We act with honesty and integrity at all times.
We treat others with respect and dignity.
We take responsibility for our actions and their consequences.
Business Ethics
We are committed to fair and lawful business practices. Corruption, extortion, bribery, or fraud have no place in our organization. We do not engage in price fixing, market sharing, or any other anti-competitive behavior.
Compliance with Laws
Adherence to all applicable laws and relevant regulations is a matter of course for us, and we expect the same from all our business partners.
CONDUCT TOWARD COMPETITORS, BUSINESS PARTNERS, AND THIRD PARTIES
Competition and Antitrust Law
We respect the principles of fair and open competition and do not engage in agreements or actions that unlawfully restrict it. All employees are required to comply with the rules of fair competition. Any form of agreement or coordinated practice with competitors concerning the following is strictly prohibited:
- Prices or price components
- Terms and conditions
- Customers
- Quotas and capacities
- Boycotts
Tender Procedures
When a contract is awarded through a formal tender, we do not coordinate or agree on offers with other bidders. This applies to public and restricted tenders alike, whether issued by governmental or private entities.
Corruption
We reject all forms of corruption, both domestic and international, and avoid even the appearance of undue influence through improper business conduct. No employee may exploit the company’s business relationships for personal or third-party gain or to the detriment of the company.
This means that no employee may grant or accept unauthorized personal benefits—such as money, valuables, or services—that could influence objective decision-making.
If there is any suspicion or uncertainty regarding possible corruption or economic crime, employees must immediately seek advice or assistance from management.
Gifts, Invitations, and Hospitality
Invitations, such as to business meals or events, may be offered or accepted if they are customary, appropriate, and not intended to create undue advantage. The same applies to the giving or receiving of gifts. If there is any doubt about the propriety or necessity of such gestures, employees must consult the Compliance Officer or a member of management in advance.
This area is comprehensively regulated within the company.
Donations and Sponsorship
Donations are made solely on a voluntary basis and without expectation of return. Neither donations nor sponsorships may be used to improperly influence business decisions.
All donations must be transparent. The recipient and the purpose of the donation must be clearly identified, and records must be available at any time to justify the reason and intended use. Payments that resemble donations but exceed the value of a legitimate service are not permitted.
Anti-Money Laundering
We have zero tolerance for money laundering. All employees must strictly comply with applicable anti-money-laundering laws and report any suspicious transactions immediately to the Compliance Officer or management.
Tax Compliance
We prepare and file all tax declarations and returns truthfully and in accordance with applicable laws.
MANAGEMENT OF INFORMATION
Personal Data, Confidential Information, and Intellectual Property
We respect the privacy rights of our employees, business partners, and clients. In handling personal data, we comply with all applicable data protection and information security regulations.
We safeguard all entrusted trade secrets and confidential information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, in accordance with relevant legal requirements.
We also respect the intellectual property rights of our partners, clients, and third parties. When exchanging know-how or technologies, we take appropriate measures to ensure the protection of intellectual property.
SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
Working Conditions
Human dignity is inviolable. We respect internationally recognized human rights as the foundation of our business activities and relationships. We categorically reject any form of forced labor, modern slavery, or human trafficking. Employment relationships are entered into voluntarily and may be terminated by employees in accordance with applicable laws.
We uphold the right of all employees to form or join trade unions or employee associations, and we expect our partners to do the same.
Compensation
Wages and benefits meet or exceed applicable legal standards. We do not tolerate unlawful deductions, including those used as disciplinary measures. In countries without statutory minimum wages, we ensure that compensation aligns with local standards.
Working Hours
We comply with all applicable laws governing working hours. In regions where no such regulations exist, we follow the recommendations of the International Labour Organization.
Child Employment
We do not tolerate child labor and adhere to all legal minimum age requirements. Under no circumstances do we employ individuals below the school-leaving age or under 15 years old.
We expect our partners to maintain effective systems for verifying age to prevent child labor. If such cases are identified, immediate corrective measures must prioritize the child’s well-being and development. For minors under 18, working conditions must not endanger their health, safety, or morals. When employing child performers (for example, children’s choirs at events), we comply fully with legal requirements, particularly those concerning child protection, working hours, parental consent, and, if required, medical or official permits. For the duration of any event, at least one dedicated person is responsible for the well-being and supervision of child performers.
Harassment and Non-Discrimination
We stand for equality, inclusion, and diversity. We reject all forms of discrimination, harassment, bullying, and intimidation. Any unequal treatment based on nationality, skin color, religion, ethnic origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or physical or mental ability is unacceptable. We ensure that hierarchical power structures are not abused and strictly prohibit the solicitation of sexual favors or any form of coercion. We are committed to gender equality, equal pay, and the use of gender-sensitive language in everyday communication. Employees who feel discriminated against or unfairly treated may confidentially contact a designated person of trust.
We treat all employees with respect and do not tolerate unlawful punishment, abuse, harassment, intimidation, or degrading treatment. All employment relationships comply with applicable labor laws, and employees receive clear information regarding their rights, obligations, working hours, remuneration, and payment terms. We respect every employee’s right to terminate their employment with proper notice.
Health and Safety
We provide a healthy and safe working environment for our employees and all individuals involved in our events to prevent accidents and injuries. We develop comprehensive safety concepts and risk assessments for our company activities and for each production individually. These address potential hazards, emergency response, and fire protection. For particularly hazardous work such as working at heights or with pyrotechnics or laser technology, we engage specialized professionals who are always present on site.
Environmental Responsibility
Protecting and preserving natural resources is a shared responsibility. We conduct our business with environmental awareness and are committed to a climate-neutral future.
We work as resource- and energy-efficiently as possible, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and prioritize renewable energy and waste reduction. We avoid air travel whenever feasible, particularly within Germany. At our events, we minimize electronic and material waste, use energy-efficient technologies, and prefer natural daylight whenever possible.
For exhibition and set design, we select eco-friendly materials and aim, whenever clients agree, to create sustainable, reusable elements. In catering, we favor regional and seasonal products and use reusable tableware. We avoid plastic bottles and cups and ensure responsible waste management.
